Muff Warren first learned about Reflexology 40 years ago. During
a visit with a friend in the '60's she learned the power of what Reflexology can actually do. Muff remembers one
client of Silvia's in particular. "She was an older lady, bedridden. He had been deaf for over 24 years. The
doctors had given up in trying to help her as they had no idea what was causing her deafness. Silvia had been going
to her home to work on her two times a week for over three months. The day I was there, after she had completed
her Reflexology session, the phone rang and the older woman sat up quickly and said she could hear the phone. Imagine
my surprise!"
Muff soon purchased Eunice Ingham's books, Stories The Feet Can Tell and Stories The Feet Have Told and showed them to her son, Chad and daughter, Bobbi, who thought she was nuts. According
to Bobbi, this was just one more crazy thing her mother was involved in. First Muff became a Hatha Yoga Instructor,
next came Transcendental Meditation - now this!
Their skepticism was short lived however, as Muff used Reflexology to help Chad's yearly ear aches that invariably
came during swimming season. Remembering the "deaf lady" Muff pulled out Eunice Ingham's books and proceeded
to work on the reflexes to Chad's ears. After doing this every night for two weeks, his ear problems cleared and
to this day has never had another ear ache.
Ten years later, Muff and Bobbi started on their journey with Reflexology by attending the original school of Reflexology
started by Eunice Ingham back in the 1940's. This school is now known as the International Institute of Reflexology.
Bobbi soon became an instructor for that school and still travels the US training others in this incredible work.
Muff, at the young age of 80, still
assists Bobbi in the West Coast workshops.
